A strange virus has found it's way onto the USS Reigning Star.  Similar to the common cold, its quickly taken over my life.  I've been mostly confined to the medical bay and am on high doses of various drugs.  We are not sure how I got infected in the first place but if my condition gets worse or if any of the crew become infected as well we may have to contact Starfleet about it.  We did pick up some passengers almost a week back, perhaps one of them got through the viral scanners.  If that's the case I am headed towards piles of paper work to go through, people will think my ship is either lacking in security or I am going around the law just to make a credit or two hauling passengers across the galaxy.

 
 

This is Captain Liger speaking of the USS Reigning Star.  As my first blog entry aboard this ship I thought I should state my purpose here.  The USS Reigning Star is a starship meant for no other reason than exploration, because of this I may have many strange encounters but perhaps just as many boring ones.  I can't guarantee entries every day, it may even be weeks before I am able to leave the action packed life of a starship deck and the captain's chair, but when I can I will try to keep record of what is going on, if only to please Star Fleet.  Captain Star out.
