For the past several months my crew and I, deciding that for now it would be best to stick together, have been living in Amazonia, back on Earth.  While I'll admit, I'm mostly just keeping these records for my own personal amusement since Starfleet's no good anymore, I'll also have to admit that it's good to be back on my beloved river!  It's only been a couple of years since I was recruited by Starfleet and left my small business here, but after my long journey through space I'm not sure if it seems like a decade or a day!  Things are pretty much as they were, I still don't tan and my canoe still leaks, leaving me on my larger riverboat instead.  I'm beginning to wish I hadn't sold my ship-of-the-sea though.

Frost doesn't seem to like it here, she's not used to navigating in the growing rainforest, she always get's lost, but Doc is amazed by how well the reforestation act of 2100 has worked!  Kris now gives guides through some of the more dangerous parts of the land--people seem to respect her knowledge of advanced weaponry, even though using them would be extremely illegal-- and Moreau has made a living on his own, fixing boats and ships and "customizing" them.

Johnny went on a trip but he wouldn't tell us where, all I know is he's due back any day.  I hope he hasn't gone and done anything to draw attention to our hiding place, he hasn't yet gotten used to the idea of us being so-called criminals, even though we're not entirely sure what it is we've done yet, and neither have I for that matter.
